Southern California Vintage VW Treffen
September 2025
After visiting events in Germany like Bad Camberg and Hessisch Oldendorf, we wanted to bring an old German atmosphere together with strictly Vintage Volkswagens. The So Cal Vintage Treffen is limited to 1961 and earlier "small taillight" Beetles and Busses, 1959 and earlier "low light" Karmann Ghias, Military Vehicles and early coachbuilts. Our first event held in September 2007 turned out to be a big success, and the plan is to hold it every other year opposite the Solvang Vintage Meet put on by the Golden Gate Chapter of the VVWCA. So if you have an old VW collecting dust in the garage and you want to show it off, or if you're just looking for an excuse to have an authentic German Bratwurst and beer... the So Cal Vintage Treffen is just the place for you.

The Rare Vintage Air VW club hosts a Friday night Cruise night. This is a special display of cars open to any aircooled Volkswagen.

Lakeview PArk
Lakeview Park is set in the hills above Orange County, overlooking Irvine Lake. This exclusive property houses ample, shaded seating and plenty of parking. Whispering Pines accent the unique tiered landscaping that gives guests expansive views.
Hotel Info
We do not have an official Host Hotel for the Treffen. The Lakeview Park is located in a rural area of Orange County near Irvine Lake. Unfortunately there are no hotels in the immediate area. Your best best bet for a quality Hotel is to book near Disneyland. Hotels in that area are aprox. 20 miles from Wolfsburg West where the Saturday Rallye begins, and 15 miles from Lakeview Park for Sunday's Treffen.
Swap Meet and Vendors
Swap Meet
A swap spot at the Treffen is for private parties selling "used" parts only. Each space is $45 per vehicle and includes driver admission.
Trailer = 2nd vehicle
Swap spaces are sold on a first come first serve basis Sunday morning.
VENDORS
Vendor Spaces are for Companies selling "new or used" merchandise. Each space is $150, aprox 20'x20’ and includes entry for one (1) vehicle and two (2) spectators.
Vendors must be pre-registered at least 2 weeks before the event.

The So-Cal Vintage Treffen is limited to the first 200 cars registered. This event in particular is specifically for 1961 and earlier "Small Taillight" Beetles and Buses, 1959 and earlier "low light" Karmann Ghias, WWII Military, early VW Coachbuilts and Porsche 356 A and pre-A vehicles. Because of our limited room at the Lakeview Park, we have to limit the vehicle count to 200. If there are spots available after pre-registration closes, we will take entries the day of the event until our maximum capacity is reached.
$75 Deluxe entry
This entry includes one (1) person and one (1) vehicle. Any passengers in the vehicle will need to purchase an additional Spectator entry for $15. For your Deluxe Entry you will be included in the Judged portion of the event and receive the "Wolfsburg West Goodie Bag" including the limited edition, numbered car badge and dash plaque. If you have entered in a previous Treffen event and would like the same number as before, that can be arranged. You will also have the option to load in early on Saturday afternoon between 5pm and 6pm and pre-stage your show vehicle.
Lakeview Park will have overnight Security
No Camping allowed Saturday evening
