The BUG-IN is back! After losing Irwindale Raceway at the end of 2024, we did not think we would be putting on another Drag Racing event. But now with Famoso Drag Strip in Bakersfield under new ownership, BUG-IN will be making its return. BUG-IN is a 2-day event opening up Saturday morning. No matter what your VW interest is, BUG-IN has it all. We will have camping Saturday evening, Car Show Sunday morning and a Swap Meet and Racing all weekend long. Our “Manufactures Midway” will have vendors from all the top companies in the industry. You can purchase a weekend pass, or a single day pass for Sunday. Get those VWs ready, we’ll see you this Fall at Famoso!

SUNDAY CAR SHOW PARKING INCLUDED WITH ANY PASS
SPECTATOR PASS
This pass is good for one (1) Adult Admission with General parking included.
Vehicle Camping is NOT included, please purchase a Camping Pass.
Passengers over the age of 12 need to purchase an additional Spectator Entry

SWAP MEET PASS
This pass is good for one (1) Adult Admission and one (1) vehicle entry into the Swap Meet Area.
A Weekend Pass will included Camping Saturday night
Any passengers in the vehicle over the age of 12 will need to purchase a Spectator Pass.
$80 - Weekend
$50 - Sunday Only
DRAG RACING PASS
This pass is good for one (1) Adult Admission, Tech Card and parking in the Racing Pits.
A Weekend Pass will included practice on Saturday and Camping in the Pits.
Any passengers in the vehicle over the age of 12 will need to purchase a Spectator Pass.
$120 - Weekend
$80 - Sunday Only
CAMPING & PIT PASS
This pass is good for one (1) Adult Admission and one (1) vehicle entry into the Racing Pits.
All Camping will take place in the Racing Pits. No Swap Meet Parking.
Any passengers in the vehicle over the age of 12 will need to purchase a Spectator Pass.
$60 - Weekend
$40 - Sunday Only
Vendor PASS
This pass is good for two (2) Adult Admissions and one (1) Vehicle Entry into the Vendor Area.
Vendors will be parked on the front row of the event, separate from the Swap Meet.
Vendors spaces are 20x20 and pre-reserved 2 weeks ahead of time. Camping included.
$150 - Weekend

Swap Meet Info
A Swap Meet Space includes one (1) Adult admission and one (1) Vehicle entry into the Swap Meet Area. Swap Meet Spaces are on a first come first serve basis. There are no saving spots in the Swap Meet area. If you purchase a Weekend Swap meet pass, then Saturday night camping is included.

Car Show Info
BUG-IN offers a Participant Judged Car show with awards given out to the Top 20 Winners. There is no pre-registration needed, once you enter you will be directed to the Car Show Parking area. There will be a booth setup where you can register and receive your window card and voting ballot. The ballots are due back by 11am and the awards will be at noon.

A Vendor Space includes two (2) Adult admissions and one (1) Vehicle Entry. Vendor Spaces are 20x20 and need to be reserved ahead of time by calling or emailing our office. (Limited Space available) Vendors are parked on the front row of the event, separate from the Swap Meet. Camping is included with all Vendor Passes.

Drag Racing Info
A Drag Racing entry includes the race vehicle and driver's admission. All racers must complete tech inspection and park in the designated pit area. A mandatory driver's meeting will be on the start line at 9:00 am and racing begins at 9:30 am. Awards presentation will be held immediately after the last round of finals.
