The Drag Day is an event held twice a year in Southern California. Geared more toward the motor head VW Junkie, the Hot VWs Drag day has much to offer for every kind of VW Enthusiast. Of course there is the action packed 1/8th mile drag racing that takes place, which on some days can attract over 100 racers at any given event. Although there is no "car show" at this event, we do offer a Show N' Shine display area for any VW up near the PITS. The Drag Day also offers a huge Swap Meet that seems to keep getting larger and larger as each year passes. The Drag Day is a fun event no matter what you like about Volkswagens. Whether you're into racing, want to catch a good deal in the Swap Meet or just looking for an excuse to drive your VW and come hang out, the the Drag Day has everything to offer.

Swap Meet & Vendors
A Swap Meet Space is $45 and includes 1 Vehicle and the Driver's admission (Trailer = 2nd vehicle, additional $45). Swap Meet Spaces are on a first come first serve basis. Space is limited and once the area is filled up we close it off. All Swappers will wait in the regular participant line and enter when the gate opens at 7am.
A Vendor Space is $150 and includes 1 Vehicle, 1 driver and 1 passenger admission. Vendor Spaces are 20x20 and need to be reserved ahead of time by calling or emailing our office. (Limited Space available) Your space will be located on the Main vendor row directly behind the grand stands. Vendors get to skip the line in the morning and load in from 5:30-6:30am, and will have their company name read off by the announcer throughout the day.
Show N' Shine
Although there is no official Car Show at the Drag Day, we do offer a preferred parking area in our "Show N' Shine". Any VW is welcome to park in this area at no extra fee. After you pay your spectator admission, just follow the sign to the show parking lot. You will be directed to your parking spot by a crew member in an orange shirt.
Drag Racing
A Drag Racing entry is $65 and includes the race vehicle and driver's admission. All racers must complete tech inspection and park in the designated pit area. A mandatory driver's meeting will be on the start line at 8:30am and racing begins at 9:30 am. Awards presentation will be held immediately after the last round of finals.
